As you can see the aging process has been blunted and dramatically reversed. Overall, the dull, lackluster appearance of the face is gone and replaced by a younger, brighter, tighter appearance. There is a market reduction in the periorbital hollowing; the creases are filled in, resulting in tightening. The forehead lines have been eradicated, as well as crows feet and softening of lip lines. Volume loss, jowls, and sagging in the cheek and jawline are much better due to the awakening of collagen producing cells, leading to increased elastin and collagen. For patients who want an alternative to injectables, Fraxel Re:store Laser and Virtue RF are the way to go.

Dr. Holder’s Comments
The visits by male patients comprise 3% of my patient population. I would like to change this statistic to a higher number. Often, men are sent by significant others. In this case, this middle-age man thought he was looking aged. Just by simply excising skin tags, his results were dramatic. I call this the clean-up visit. This is a cosmetic procedure, not covered by insurance. We do offer CareCredit to ease the cost(s) of the visit.

This condition(s) is often seen in people of African ancestry or any ethnicity with coarse curly hair. The root of the cause here is the hair shaft curling under the skin, causing ingrown hairs. I have often seen a strong association with polycystic ovary disease (PCOD). Multiple treatments were necessary to achieve this life-changing outcome. Laser Hair Reduction, chemical peels, Fraxel Laser, and medical intervention was paramount. This is an extreme case of how cosmetic dermatology can change lives.
